Critically analyze a criminal justice-related film of your choice by applying at least 10 law-related concepts or cases that you have learned in this course to the various scenarios in the film. The assignment should be 2-3 pages, double-spaced, 12-point size, Times New Roman, and should include the following: Application of at least 10 law-related concepts and/or landmark cases learned in class. A brief description of the scenes to which you apply the concepts/cases explaining why they are applicable. Please make sure to explain the concepts in your own words and then apply them to the film. Write the name of the concept in bold and the complete citation of the case in italics. Please make sure to explain the concepts or the holding of the cases in your own words and cite the sources. E.g. If you apply the concept of double jeopardy, write the term in bold, explain it in your own words, cite your textbook as the source from where you got it. If you use a case, write the complete citation in the text of your paper. E.g. Whitley v. Albers, 475 U.S. 312 (1986). Next, apply the concept to a particular scene in the film. Please do not write the plot of the film, just the particular scenario to which the concept applies. Explain how it applies. Please do not use internet sources. While your paper must have a scholarly tone (e.g. using appropriate grammar and a college-level vocabulary, not using contractions or the first or second person), it should consist mainly of your own original ideas and thoughts, as to how the concepts or cases are applicable. Make sure to break the paper into paragraphs. Use the APA style if you include references.

Essay Topic A: Tell us your story. What unique opportunities or challenges have you experienced throughout your high school career that have shaped who you are today?
proofreading, revise, correct grammar. This is my college essay to apply for university. Limit words is 750 words.
Goal: Evaluate how interventions work in public health and what may be effective in solving a health issue you have explored. Career Focus: Public Health professionals often have to evaluate multiple interventions to determine the best one for their specific population and health issue. They often must describe why they have chosen the intervention they have to their supervisors, funders, or colleagues.
Topic: Cognitive enhancements increasing the prefrontal cortex neuronal using Methyphenidate The beginning of the paper can be about the study of the brain as it’s shown in the PowerPoint The end of the paper can be tied into the abuse of the drug in colleges (where the case studies can be in) STEP 1: FIND 20 primary sources and upload a PDF of each source (can only use 2 case studies). There needs to be 20 primary sources and out of those, 2 case studies can be used. Reviews of papers do not count. They need to be all within the last 5 years, between 2017-2022. For example, this is a primary source https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC181133/pdf/i1523-5998-002-05-0159.pdf STEP 2: Write a 10-15 page paper using the 20 primary sources (instructions below), attached outline (update as needed), and PowerPoint (update as needed) STEP 3: Update the attached outline to match paper STEP 4: Update the Powerpoint to match paper The paper should consist of what the drug is, how is it produced, what is it made out of, and how it affects and impacts the human brain and the neurological process of the drug. Towards the end, it needs to be transitioned to how this drug is being abused amongst college campuses (can use the case study for this) – Length: 10-15 pages, 1.5 space – Font: Times New Roman, 11-12 – Include Cover Page – Include Abstract (200 words) – Include Conclusion with your own thoughts – MLA Format

Single-system research designs are useful to social workers who want to know whether an intervention has been effective with a client, whether the client is an individual, a family, a group, an organization, or a community. While there are many different models of single-subject designs, for the purposes of this assignment you are to use the ABA design (see Ch. 6 in Royse et al), also known as the “Interrupted Time-Series Design with Follow-up”. In some instances, depending on the nature of the target problem and whether it is a client, you may have to use an AB design because it may be unethical to withdraw the intervention once it has started.
In this design, you must observe and record during three different periods:
baseline (before any intervention has occurred)
follow-up (after intervention has ceased)
For this assignment you should ask a family member, friend, colleague, or classmate to participate under condition of confidentiality. Clients may be used with your supervisor’s permission. No children can participate. Also, no participant should be used who is currently in therapy, on medication or has a medical condition, nor should you attempt to change or measure activities or dosages related to the medication. Also, no pharmaceuticals, such as gums, patches, ointments, should be used. This should be a social work intervention.
Please use the info below as the Client for the paper:
1. The participant that I will be using for my project is a 24 year old female friend of 12 years.
2. The target problem is overwhelming feelings.
3. Emotional overwhelm entails more than being stressed. By definition being emotionally overwhelmed means being completely submerged by your thoughts and emotions about all of life’s current problems, to the point where you lack productivity and feel frozen or paralyzed.
4. The target problem will be measured by self-monitoring and reporting feelings of being overwhelmed during her day-to-day life. The participant will have to use a self-monitoring app to count the number of times she is feeling overwhelmed and identify what she is doing in that exact moment or thinking.
Please keep in mind that this info should be measured on a daily basis. Also, you need a proper amount of change you can check for this assignment. Please make sure that you have the same number of days for each of the base, intervention, and follow-up phases.
Choose the measurable problem (behavior, cognition, affect) that is targeted for change.
Record your baseline data on a tally sheet for at least five days, that is, how many times a day during this period was the problem observed?
Transfer the data from the tally sheet to a chart that specifies the exact time intervals (days) and exact frequency of the target problem (number of times observed that day).
After baselining the problem, begin your intervention. Describe in detail what is entailed in the intervention, what did you do? What was the subject expected to do? What were the incentives for performing the expected behaviors, e.g., penalties for undesirable behaviors, rewarding desired behavior, etc.?
Observe and record the frequency (or duration or intensity) of the target problem during the intervention period. The intervention should last the same number of days as the baseline period, but no less than five days.
Terminate the intervention and record the frequency of the target problem for at least as long as the baseline period on the tally sheet and your chart.
Write up your results in memo form and include the components listed below. The paper should no more than 4 pages and include 4 references, including Royce et al. Please use the following subheadings:
Introduction: Brief description of the subject, the target problem, the intervention used, and the time frame.
Intervention and rationale: Describe in detail the intervention and why it was chosen. Include a brief literature review that suggests, or seems to support, your intervention as an appropriate strategy to deal with the target problem. Indicate whether similar approaches have been tried and whether or not they were successful. Do the results vary by population, e.g., males, females, ethnic minorities?
Results: Describe the results of the follow-up and refer the reader to your single-system chart. Point out any changes from baseline to intervention to follow-up.
Discussion and Conclusion: Assess whether the intervention used was appropriate and effective. If so, would you use it again? If not, why was it not effective? What other approaches might be tried? With what client groups might it be effective? You will not be graded on whether the intervention was effective, rather on whether you are able to provide a sound rationale for the intervention based on empirical literature and whether you are able to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the approach.

This assignment will emulate any (and many) of the thesis-driven articles replete with evidence, examples and support investigating the intersections of identity and food OR culture and food OR humanity and food. As such, it seeks to provide just one possible, captivating and persuasive answer (with tons of proof!) to just one of the following questions: 1) What does food say about me? 2) What does food say about my culture? 3) What does food reveal about humanity in general?
From Mishan’s “What We Write About When We Write About Food”:
Still, when contemporary food writers (and, I suppose, I am one) stray from celebrating flavors to probe the larger issues surrounding the parade of dishes to our tables — exploitation of labor, abuse of animals, climate change, the homogenizing of cuisines and cultures under globalization, systemic injustices that allow millions of people to go hungry each year — some readers complain. Food should not be political, they insist. Food is universal; food unites us. Let us have our cakeLinks to an external site. in peace.
For this Assignment #2 Brainstorm (or “Shitty First Draft”): ”you need to do this part”!!
Let’s muddy the waters a little bit and get our hands dirty and wrestle out some potential seeds that could blossom into giant fruiting trees down the road! When you consider food carefully, what topics come up for you? Mishan mentions “exploitation of labor, abuse of animals, climate change, the homogenizing of cuisines and cultures under globalization, systemic injustices that allow millions of people to go hungry each year…” as topics that swell up around the topic of food for her. Which of those topics that she’s listed have you heard about, read something in the news about or have considered before/have an opinion about? If you haven’t considered these topics around food, which might interest you enough to do some digging around? Jot down any thoughts you have around Mishan’s topics.
Now brainstorm any additional topics and thoughts that pop up for you, personally, around food. Have you ever dieted? Lost sleep over body issues and your relationship to food? Do you know anything about these Keto and Paleo things that seems to be everywhere now? Do you follow any food bloggers or YouTubers? Consider yourself a foodie? Watch The Great British Bake-Off or Top Chef religiously? Any mukbang now and then? Ever eaten an insect? Or anything else your typical American would find “gross” or “unappealing”? etc. etc. etc.
Jot down any thoughts you have about any or all of the above and in any way that you find helpful. Maybe you want to draw a bubble diagram. Maybe you want to make a bullet point list. Maybe you want to record yourself talking. Whatever. I simply want you to start engaging with the topic of food and its relationship with you, your culture, and our world and humanity. Upload any kind of file here to show how you are beginning to engage with Assignment #2!
Oh yeah, and don’t forget what Anne Lamott says: “The first draft is the child’s draft, where you let it all pour out and then let it romp all over the place, knowing that no one is going to see it and that you can shape it later. You just let this childlike part of you channel whatever voices and visions come through and onto the page.”
Choose an artist from the above list and post a Youtube video of one of their performances in your discussion answer. Artist :Michael Jackson youtube.com/watch?v=EsopN7JKUVs Along with this video, answer the following questions. * QUESTIONS: How might you describe this R&B artist’s musical style and identifying (musical) traits? What made you choose this artist and performance? Write substantive/thoughtful answers (required 150 word minimum)
